Bridal Shower

I'm having a destination wedding with no guest. Is it still okay to have a bridal shower? Or what should I do?

bridal showers NEW

I agree with the previous comments. I think the purpose of wedding gifts from wedding guests is for guests to congratulate you and thank you for a lovely day and for including them on your special day. If you are not entertaining them at all, or treating them to a party or nice meal, I think it would be a little rude to organise a bridal shower yourself. If people want to give you gifts, which I am sure they will to say congratulations, they will do it anyway without a bridal shower.

a shower invite means a wedding invite, too
by: Dandelion

Anyone who is invited to the bridal shower must be invited to the wedding--otherwise, you're saying "you're good enough to give me presents, but not important enough to celebrate the event for which the presents are given."

That depends

Are you asking about planning your own bridal shower? If that is the case, absolutely not! To plan your own shower is the same as sending out notes that say, "Give me presents." If a friend has offered to plan one for you, that is perfectly acceptable.
