'Divorced' or 'Widowed'?

'Divorced' or 'Widowed'?

My ex-husband is considerably older than I am. We have been divorced for 25 years and neither one has remarried.
My question is, if he dies before I do, when I am completing questionnaires will I still need to consider myself "divorced" or would I be "widowed" or what? Putting "divorced" seems to indicate that we are both still living.
What is the correct way to answer that query?
