Does the bride host the reception
by Heidi Keller

This is a question about guests.
My wedding was 2 weeks ago. Since then I've had two friends complain; one complained that I didn't introduce her to my husband and the other complained that I didn't introduce her to my brother.
I feel a little peeved about their complaints because I feel like they had the opportunity to introduce themselves - or they could have said, "Hey, introduce me to so and so." That was the biggest day of my life, I was involved with a lot of things and barely had time to sit down and take a breather. My husband and I went in different directions a time or two - I had no idea who has met, and who hasn't.
But am I really suppose to grab everyone and introduce them to everyone else individually? Am I suppose to play bride and hostess at my own wedding reception? They both just sat at their tables and never got up but to eat. All they had to do was mingle, or ask that I introduce them to whomever - or introduce themselves!
