Elegant hand gestures when talking

Thank-you so much for making such a lovely and helpful site! As the eldest daughter in a family of girls who was brought up like the boy, your site has been instrumental in my journey to groom myself. Before finding this site, I was always confused about why boys did not like a masculine girl like me, whereas they were always finding faults with women!

What are elegant and appropriate hand gestures when one is standing and talking? Should my hands be relaxed at my sides, or should I hold them? I tend to be too animated when I talk, and my hands are always flying all over the place! Advice would be much appreciated.
