Elegant Wedding Dress Accessories
Choose the right veil and jewelry

Choose the right elegant wedding dress accessories. They make or break your perfect wedding style. Have you every seen a beautiful dress ruined by the wrong accessories? How to choose your veil and wedding jewelry and accessories.

For an elegant wedding, your choice of wedding dress accessories must be exquisite. Elegance is in all the details (and so is God).

How do you chose the right wedding dress accessories? First you must determine your wedding dress style.

Choice of Elegant Veils

If you have a big elaborate dress, classic wedding dress accessories such as a mid length veil would go very well.

If you have a simple elegant wedding dress, you can afford to go a bit dramatic with your veil.

Unless if you are royalty or marrying royalty of course.

Elegant Wedding Jewelry or Accessories

Your choice of elegant wedding dress accessories is largely determined by your wedding hairstyle and neckline of your dress.

If you are like most brides and you are wearing a strapless tube top gown with a 'horizontal' neckline, the worst thing you can do is to crowd your neck with chokers and beads that either take away the attention from your beautiful gown, or draw attention to the bosom.

This is worse when combined with large dangly earrings.

To preserve an elegant look, choose a small pendant necklace and small earrings. Studs or teardrop earrings would be lovely.

Do not try to make a statement with current fashion, such as wearing an huge locket or bird pendant, much to your regret years later.

A choker clashes, but a strand of pearls that rests loosely near your collarbone is classically elegant.

You can also wear diamond necklaces in a round shape or as a pendant necklace, as long as it sits just below your collar bone, discretely of course.

For scoop necks and boat necked ensembles, you have a choice of string of pearls or beads or links of the lengths of your choice.

For v-necks dresses, if your V is too low revealing some bosom, go for a pendant necklace with a shorter chain. Most of the times, the V-shape is very flatter to most figures, and my recommendation is to go without any wedding accessories around the neck.

If your ensemble is delicate, avoid big, clunky necklaces. Go without or use only simple jewelry. The chunky clunky necklaces only work if the event is casual, or if you are generally a fairly large woman.

Also, don't forget to consider will you be also wearing gloves? If you are, less opulent looking jewelry is recommended.
