Husband does not want to attend my Grandfathers funeral

Let me start by saying my husband is a nice sweet sensitive guy. BUT he works construction and will be off work next week so he does not want to take Wed-Fri off this week to fly to my Grandpas funeral.

It's in the same state so the tickets are cheap enough. I was not that close with this grandpa, however, I am very close to my mom and my aunt who are grieving the loss of their father. I am also the minister doing my first funeral service, for my Grandfather.

I feel like he should show his support and respect for our family by appearing, although I do understand that sometimes you have to make sacrifices due to finances. What is your take on it?
