First of all I wish to say hello to all the ladies here and hope we will exchange ideas and be able to cultivate our common wish to let elegance survive our days.

My grandmother was a true lady and she brought me up in grace and with a severe but kind heart. I wish to be up to what elegance is all about.

In the end, nobody, even with the best grooming or manners can be elegant if modesty, kindness of heart and self-consciousness are missing.

It is a true state of mind and heart more than just a superficial appearance.

An elegant lady will always put her conversation partner at easy.

People should feel comfortable with us, so ,while being highly polished we should let it be a sign of respect towards the person we talk to but we should never make him or her feel little.

I am happy I found this site and found the posts I read so far true and lovely. Being a lady means to be first of all AWARE.

So I hope each lady in here just as the talented author, will add some of her own grace and experiences to this site. And I hope I will be able to do that too.

Nicole
