Noisy Neighbours Upstairs

Dear Miss Manner:

We are in need of your expertise. We live in a condo complex and are on the first floor. We have lived here for almost 7 years and reall enjoy the community. However in last couple of months we have had a lady and her daughter move in above us and it sounds like the circus is always in town above us. I have never heard such noise and am unsure on just how to approach her to ask her to just be more aware. The mother is very athletic so maybe she is working out but it sounds like they are just running back and forth constantly. What should/can I do to keep the peace but keep our sanity?
