She said I was Elegant

by Deanna
(Forth Worth Texas)

My daughter gave me a dozen beautiful white roses for Mothers Day. I asked her what prompted to buy white. She said because they are elegant like you. I cried.

I am 48 and I have always felt pretty enough, and being raised by a man, my father who God bless him he tried, he would always say “Sit up straight and watch your diction, People will judge you by the way stand and speak.” Although, you always have a way of mimicking the parent you’re raised with, my father being all man, so as you can well guess I find I am not always Elegant.

I have videoed my self and noticed that at times I am awkward and clumsy. I have a direct way of speaking that is akin to Rose Ann Barr.

I want to make changes in my life and looking forward to being poised and elegant. So I can teach my girls the same. Thank you for your website Elegant Woman.

I going to keep a video diary if you would like me to one day share it with you I would be glad to.
