Turning My Life Around!

Me and my Bichon Frise - Gracie!

Dear Eunice

I have been following your site for about 18 months, maybe more, and I wanted to let you know just how much my life has changed since reading it.

For many years my life involved working long hours and partying very hard in my free time to de-stress. At the end of about 6 years of living like this I realised that I had debt, a pretty soulless existence and a address book full of what I would describe as "bar friends". I stumbled across your site and it felt like a lightbulb had been switched on! Wow, I had been aspiring to be elegant and sophisticated but had not even considered that it comes from the inside, I honestly thought it was about what you wore and where you went! I realised that my self-esteem was actually quite low as I was relying on these things to make me feel good.

The last year has been an incredible turnaround for me, it has been hard work and some tough decisions have had to be made regarding circles of friends and how I spend my time. Yes, I do of course still enjoy nice restaurants and decent quality clothes but the cup has definitely been cleaned on the inside as well.

I have started working with the Junior League of London and never imagined how much I would enjoy just giving back to others, I have also started writing my own website and my husband and I have been attending church on a Sunday and are slowly regaining our faith, my prayers have certainly been answered.I prayed that I could find the inner strength to change what I knew needed changing, I also prayed that my husband would also want to change things (we were like Bonnie and Clyde!) and I also prayed that an opportunity would present itself to me to volunteer in my community. All of these have been answered and I am so grateful.

I bought your e-book Secrets of Elegance and can honestly say that discovering my true self, obtaining some peace and changing what I do with my time and who I spend it with has given me so much more confidence and self-esteem. I no longer look to others for approval, I am confident with who I am, what my beliefs are and I know exactly where I am going in my life now. I am so excited!

Thank you so much Eunice. Happy christmas!

Emma
