Wedding gift

by Sharon
(Verona, NJ)

Two of my employees are getting married but did not invite anyone from work to their wedding.

There are only 5 employees which includes my husband, myself and another worker.

Do we buy them a gift just because they are our employees, one has been working with us for 3 years and the other for 2 months.

Thank You.

Buying A Gift For Someone's Wedding Even Though Not Invited?
by: Eunice

That would depend on your relationship to that employee.

Gifts are meant to be bestowed at your own free will. So the truth is that it is entirely up to you.

Perhaps you needn't go towards the extent of presenting a gift as if you were indeed invited to the wedding, but simply send some congratulatory flowers and a nice card with everyone's signatures from the company.
